Computer Science & Engineering
This is a diversified field focusing many research areas like neural, Network, Computer Networking, Cloud Computing, Data mining etc. The student in this stream acquires skills in developing advance product & systems in the faculty members of Computer Science and Engineering are competently qualified and highly experienced.
The department aims to provide an excellent learning atmosphere where technical knowledge blends with real-time experience of in the promising field of computing.
The Department of CSE follows the curriculum of the university and also covers the portions that are beyond the syllabus. The curriculum covers all the software and related hardware part of computing mainly, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Database Management Systems, Computer Architecture, Graphics and Multimedia, and other emerging areas like usage of Soft-Computing tools and so on, and the areas in CSE as per the syllabus prescribed by RGTU, Bhopal.
We are having competent faculties with vast teaching experience. They provide students with the latest technical knowledge and practical exposure so that they can make their presence felt in the latest technical revolution. The Department offers guidance to the students in the latest software like C, C++, JAVA, .NET and LINUX programming. The computer facilities comprise laboratories of 200+ Computers; all are interconnected through the network. The department has also the Internet facility of 4MBPS for the faculty and student.

Information Technology is an integrated stream which provides the industrial expertise in various domain like real time system, Software Engineering, Wireless and Wired real time communication, IT Security in embedded system, real time image processing etc.
The department aims at achieving convergence of information, Communication and Media Technologies. It also trains and educates engineers of outstanding ability who can become leaders in their profession.
It tries to work closely with industry leaders and to help those undertaking different projects in their respective sectors.

Electronics and Communication Engineering
A Powerful Blend of Theoretical and Applied
The Department has highly competent and recourses staff. The main purpose of the department is not only make available a strong pedestal but also to give exposure about the most modern communication technological trends like mobile technology, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, Bluetooth, VLSI, Embedded system, Image Processing, Computer Networks necessary to endure in the Industrial Sector.
Various well equipped laboratories like electronic circuits, communication, microprocessor, digital electronics at PIES helps the faculty to mould quality engineers required in today's competitive environment. The Electronics & Telecommunication Department has a reputation of competent engineers imbibed with the spirit of professionalism and responsible citizenship in a competitive global environment.

Mechanical Engineering
The most promising branch of knowledge-Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering is a highly diversified stream. The mechanical engineers design machines, devices, products, control systems, and work with the generation, and thermal power, Mechanical engineering are also responsible for characterization, specification and analysis of material used in design and manufacturing.
Manufacturing systems, robotics, electromechanical devices and control system are also the purview of the mechanical engineer. Graduates in mechanical engineering are among the most versatile engineers and enjoy professional employment in industry, government, consulting and research organizations.

Civil Engineering
Engineering the living options
The department of Civil Engineering is very strong and it has highly qualified and Research oriented faculty. This department is working on the concept that besides classroom teaching, exposure should be given to the modern construction technology, high rise buildings and long span ridges.
This objective is fulfilled by organizing field visits. The department also arranges expert lectures from the experienced technocraft from various organizations and institutes of repute. The Civil Engineering provides the testing and consultancy services like designing the building structure and material testing that caters to the needs of the community.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering has well-prepared laboratories like Electrical, Electrical Instrumentation, Network Analysis, Control System, machine lab, etc. World class software like MATLAB, Simulink, PSCAD, PSIM. Labview are available in the department to work on top-of-the line projects in various areas of electrical engineerings.

The Department also has excellent testing facilities in the area of High Voltage Engineering and testing of rotating machines.
